These composites draw inspiration from black-and-white public domain photographs, interwoven with imagery from Fables. This series reimagines historical figures as time-travelers navigating the modern world. Each subject becomes a fusion of eras, blending their historical roots with contemporary surroundings to create a visually layered narrative—a modern fable that connects past and present, identity and time.
Techniques:
Utilized advanced compositing methods including precise masking, tonal matching, texture blending, and environmental integration. Vintage imagery was restored and merged with modern photographic elements through meticulous color correction, lighting adjustments, and layer-based retouching to create unified, believable scenes.
